Subject:Needs research on phonology of Arabic acquisition by Eng  
speakers

I'm interested in reading any research that has been done with regard to
the acquisition of Modern Standard Arabic by native speakers of English
and how the phonology of MSA can influence that acquisition.  I'm
especially interested in acquisition of lexical items (vocabulary).
Thanks for any help you can give.
