I think you could finish Alif baa and the first 6 lessons from Alkitab
in one year. In my university, we finish this amount in one semester
but we meet 4 classes per week.

Subject:Textbook coverage response
At the college level with 4 days of instruction per week, one can
usually finish Alif Baa and through Unit 6 of al-Kitab in the first
semester (on the semester, not quarter, system) and through Unit 12 of
al-Kitaab in the second semester.
