Would be great if you can also add to the distance learning list of courses http://arabiccomplete.com/ The project demonstrated here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWecsKjBFZ8&feature=player_embedded compares Modern Standard Arabic with Egyptian Colloquial using an auditory approach to learning Arabic with color-coded text, up to 7,000 audio clips of high frequency phrases, videos, and podcasts. 

The materials were tested at New York University in the Speaking Freely Program in 2009. And will be further used and tested, starting this September 2011, at Johns Hopkins University and the United Nations. Online courses are offered from beginner to high-intermediate levels.
