Subject: Georgetown Job
The Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Georgetown University
invites applications for a visiting lecturer in Arabic, starting in
August 2011 on a one-year contract. A Ph.D. in Arabic linguistics or
literature is preferable, but not necessary. Applicants must be
experienced in proficiency-based, communicative methods of teaching
Modern Standard Arabic and spoken Arabic at all levels. Experience in
curriculum and materials development, and in proficiency testing a plus.

references to: Arabic Search, Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies,
Poulton Hall 201, Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. 20057-1046, or
