Subject:PT Arabic Instructor Job, U of New Haven

The University of New Haven, a Leader in Experiential Education, is
seeking a dynamic part-time instructor of Arabic beginning in the Fall
of 2012.
We are looking for an engaging individual who can create a
constructive classroom atmosphere and generate interest in the subject
matter. The ideal candidate will be proficient in language instruction
technology and adept at working with students who possess different
learning styles.
Candidates should have a Native or near-Native fluency in Arabic, a
minimum of a Masters degree in Arabic Language or Literature,
Linguistics, or a relevant discipline. Some previous successful
experience in teaching Arabic at the university level is desirable.
Candidates should send a c.v., a cover letter, a statement of teaching
philosophy, proof of teaching excellence (e.g. short video, teaching
evaluations, or other), and three letters of recommendation to:
