Using Prezi and Splashtop App with the Splashtop Remote Desktop App on
ipad to teach the Arabic Language

Does your school encourage the use of Smartboards, projectors and
Power Points? Prezi is a new tool that allows you to jazz up your old
Power Points or create new, engaging presentations through multiple
perspectives, zooming and a non-linear approach. You've got to try it
and have some fun!

This workshop will offer hands-on opportunities for Arabic or any
World Languages educators to explore practical ways to use Prezi to
enhance instruction of the 5 C's framework (Communication, Culture,
Community, Connections and Comparisons), with specific attention to
listening, speaking and writing skills. The workshop will explore
innovative ideas, effective techniques, and thoughtful plans for
incorporating Web-based resources, social media, and emerging
technologies into the classroom instruction of World Languages, with
an eye towards building global awareness, collaboration skills and
critical thinking.

After taking this workshop, participants will be able to use Prezi in
teaching Arabic or any World language.

App for your ipad.
