ARABIC LANGUAGE INSTRUCTORS for SUMMER 2012

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking qualified
instructors for the intensive summer Arabic and North African Studies
program (www.aui.ma/arabic) to teach Arabic as a foreign language with
focus on the development of communicative Arabic language skills. The
program is designed for university level students and will be held
from June 1 to July 31, 2012. Candidates must have a minimum of a
Master’s degree in Arabic studies, in language-related fields, or in
language education and be native speakers of Arabic or have near
native proficiency. A minimum of two years of classroom experience
using communicative teaching methodologies in highly interactive
classroom environments is required.

The PROGRAM:  Over the last 12 years, more than 600 students from 35
countries attended the ARANAS program which offers 4-week and 8-week
sessions in the Arabic language at all levels – from beginning to
advanced- and a choice from among seven Tracks.  For more information,
