Description:
The University of Silesia Institute of English is seeking a lecturer to
teach Arabic to university students at the beginning and intermediate
levels. The Arabic language course involves elements of culture and
literature but they are secondary to the main task of teaching Arabic.
Requirements:
- Native fluency in Arabic, command of English or Polish welcome
- M.A. degree (preferrably in linguistics and/or literature)
Responsibilities:
- Teach Arabic 12 hours per week
- Hold three office hours per week
- Participate in Department meetings
- Work with Arabic programme coordinator and tutors
- Prepare syllabus and teaching materials
- Co-organise Arabic culture and language events
