My forthcoming book, "Teaching and Learning Arabic as a Foreign Language: A
guide for teachers," will be available from Georgetown University Press
this fall.  In it I review and evaluate a number of traditional and
contemporary methodologies for teaching Arabic, and deal with many
curricular and pedagogical issues that are specific to Arabic.
