Subject:Copyright query for using older Arabic lit in textbooks
Does anyone know, particularly among those colleagues who have published
textbooks, if a copyright permission is needed to include an Arabic short
story or a poem written in the 1960's in an Arabic textbook to be published
by a European or American publisher? If so, how difficult or easy is it to
secure such a permission?
Thank you.
Hanada
