The National Capital Language Resource Center, George Washington
University, Georgetown University, and The Center for Applied
Linguistics** have
created a website, now, alas, apparently no longer updated, featuring
simplified news releases, read at a relatively slow pace, including
listening comprehension questions and transcripts. Older webcasts of news
items are available for the years 2009 and 2010.
