Subject:Diminutive forms of demonstratives
Hi everyone,
I was looking through what Sibuwayh has to say about demonstratives, and he
lists diminutive forms (mu7aqqar) for the demonstratives. This may simply
be an exercise in illustrating morphological processes, but I wonder
whether anyone is familiar with modern dialects which have morphologically
"diminutive" forms of the demonstratives.
Alf shukr,
Alex Magidow
