The International Book Centre has a special sale for copies of the work
"Let's Read the Arabic Newspapers," by the Arabist Howard D. Rowland, which
is designed to teach Advanced Basic and/or Intermediate (and perhaps even
Intermediate/Advanced) students of Arabic to read the daily press that
comes out in that language and to provide them with intensive practice when
engaging in this activity.
Our normal price for this volume is $45.00, but we are now offering it for
the special price of $29.95 per individually-ordered copy, and for batches
of 25 copies or more that are ordered, we will sell it to you for $24.95
per copy.
"Let's Read the Arabic Newspapers" is specially designed for the
language-learning needs of American students of Arabic--one of which the
author himself once was--and, if correctly and consistently used, should
raise the reading level of any student from that of an Advanced
Beginner/Intermediate Level student of the language to that of a student on
the Intermediate/Advanced Level.
We look forward to hearing from you and hope to supply your students with
one or more copies of this unique Arabic language-learning tool.
Sincerely,
Doris
