Subject: ACTFL Arabic SIG Elections

Dear Arabic SIG Members,
This is an election year for choosing new officers for Arabic SIG. To reach
the widest audience of SIG members, a mandate of holding SIG Officer
elections online went into effect on 1/1/2013. You are invited to send your
nominations for one of the 3 offices: Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary. You
are asked to submit a bio/vision statement (250 words or less). Please use
the following link to submit your nominations before September 15th, 2014.
You are required to attend the Arabic SIG Business Meeting which will be
held at the ACTFL Convention in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, November
22, 2014.

Once the nominations are in, ACTFL Membership Services will set-up, send
out voting link to sig members, monitor, and provide the current chair with
the results. Elections will be open for on-line voting from 10/1- 10/15.
Newly elected officers will take over the offices on January 1 of the
corresponding year.
