Choate Summer Arabic Study Abroad Program for High School students

For the third year Choate Rosemary Hall, a private boarding school in
Wallingford – Connecticut, is pleased to offer students in ninth-eleventh
grade the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Arabic language and Arab
culture in Jordan. Participants spend 4 weeks in Amman from June 16th until
July 16th. The program offers Modern Standard Arabic (at a level
appropriate to proficiency) and intensive Jordanian colloquial classes.
Students also explore Jordanian History and learn about traditional Islamic
arts. Participants on the program will live in pairs with Jordanian
families,  helping them to improve their spoken Arabic and discover
Jordanian social customs and traditions.
