Dear Friends, Colleagues and Students Hedayet Institute for Arabic Studies
(HIAS) in Egypt is pleased to announce to you its Study Abroad and Language
Programs for Spring Term II and for Summer I and II 2014:

.      Intensive Total Immersion:

Study 19 hrs. per week as follows: 12 hrs. of Modern Standard Arabic, 6 hrs.
of Egyptian Colloquial Arabic, 3 hrs. Elective course in addition to
Cultural activities (trips, seminars, films, cooking, watching after amended
constitution elections and gatherings with young and professional Egyptians
etc.)

.   Islamic Studies Intensive Program :

Study 19 hrs. of Modern Standard Arabic, 3 hrs. of Egyptian Colloquial
Arabic in addition to basic two courses in Islamic Studies in 6 hrs. per
week ( Sira, Tafsiir, Maqaasid ash Sharie'a, Islamic Architecture, Islamic
Philosophy, Tajweed al Qur'an, Hadith Sciences, Fiqh al 'aqeeda etc.)

Enrolling is in one term (154 hrs. in 7 weeks) or two terms (308 hrs. in 14
weeks). If you combine 2 terms, you get 10% discount in the second term.

Tuition fees have not been increased since last year; i.e.,  $ 2772 USD for
the Total Immersion 7 wk term, and $ 1080 USD for the Islamic Studies
intensive 7 wk term, and tuition fees  include language instruction,
cultural activities, tour-guiding + transportation to sites, airport-pickup,
WI-FI service and housing search-assistance. Fees do not include
accommodation or airfare.

.      Available in Fall, Spring and Summer.

Spring Term II: From March 30th till May 15, 2014

Deadline for Spring Term II is Feb 28th, 2014

Summer term I (7 wks): From June 8th till July 22th, 2014

Summer term II (6wks): From Aug. 3rd till Sept. 10th,2014

Deadline for the summer terms is May 8th, 2014
Special rates for groups of 6 and above. Pls. check with the administration

.         Please check with administration several other non-intensive, kids
& adults short cultural summer camps, tailored programs for schools
students, professionals and researchers.

.                     TAFL Training for Teachers and teachers to be with
internationally experienced trainers. The last successful coordinated
Brazilian Arabic teachers' program left HIAS after 3 intensive wks was on
Jan. 17th 14

.                     TAFL training institute is combined with Cultural
Activities for Abroad programs. Please check the Brazilian Arabic Teachers'
TAFL program in Cairo at HIAS from Dec. 27th, 13 to Jan.17th, 2014 on :
