Arabic, Persian, and Turkish Language Immersion Institute (APTLII)

University of Wisconsin – Madison
June 14 to August 9, 2014

The UW-Madison Arabic, Persian, and Turkish Language Immersion Institute
(APTLII) is still accepting applications for Summer 2014. APTLII is an
eight-week intensive summer language immersion program for undergraduates,
graduate students, and professionals. Throughout the entire program
students are required to communicate in their target language - in their
shared living space on campus, at meals, and at co-curricular activities
that combine to create a language immersion experience.

Courses are offered at levels ranging from Beginner to Advanced (depending
on sufficient enrollment), and provide two semesters of academic credit.
Instruction is given in small groups taught by native speakers and
experienced language teachers. Our intensive program include a minimum of
4.5 classroom contact hours daily Monday through Friday, along with a
packed schedule of afternoon and evening activities and workshops.

The total charge of $7,000 includes tuition, housing, and meals.
