Name for Athabaskan people in Tlingit

I have a curious name for Athabaskan people who live on the Yukon
River in Tlingit. It's "ayaan" in Carcross Tlingit and "ayaane" in
Teslin Tlingit. Dunno if it exists in other Tlingit variants, but
probably not. Does anyone have an idea which language this term might
be from, and what means? I don't have any lexical materials on
Northern Tutchone, Southern Tutchone, Han, Tagish, or Kaska, so I
can't figure it out myself.
