For you OTistas out there, and I know there are a few of you, there's
a new software tool for working on Optimality Theory problems. It's
Java-based and so should run on most operating systems. "The user of
the interface can define a number of elements (forms, candidates, Gen
functions, constraints, hierarchies...) and run experiments with them,
such as calculating the grammatical forms or draw tableaux. The Java
package offers corresponding classes to Java programmers."

Even though it says it's version "1.0", the announcement says it's
still in an "experimental phase". Presumably if it breaks you get to
keep both pieces.

Strictly dominated,
James
