[Athapbasckan-L] Final Call for Papers!

Dear Friends,

Just wanted to remind you that the deadline for submitting abstracts to
this year's *Dene Languages Conference* is this coming *Monday, March
28th! * Just as a reminder, I am attaching our current version of the
conference flyer, along with a description of the conference theme and
special session.  The conference will be held at the Explorer Hotel in
downtown Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, June 6-7 (Monday-Tuesday).

Please don't by shy about submitting!  Although we encourage presentations
relating to one of this year's themes, presentations on any topic relating
to Dene languages are welcome.  Also, abstracts can be shorter than 2
pages, even just a couple paragraphs is fine.

I should also let you know that there will be a change in plans regarding
the invited speaker lineup on the flyer, in that Professor Krauss of ANLC
regrets that he will not be able to make the long trip from Fairbanks over
to Yellowknife this year, for personal health reasons.  However, we are
making arrangements for a new invited speaker, whom we will announce
shortly, as soon as we are able to confirm arrangements with that person
(stay tuned).

In conclusion, please send in your abstracts!  Send them to
amjaker at gmail.com, 2 pages maximum, anonymous (but with your contact info
in the email).  Also feel free to email me with questions.
