ɂedláanet'e-á sélat'ıné,

I just had a community member ask me about whether there is still going to
be a Dene languages conference in 2025. First just to review what we had
tentatively agreed to before:

2025: Doig River First Nation, BC
2026: Kenaitze Indian Tribe, Kenai, Alaska
2027: Yellowknives Dene First Nation, Yellowknife, NT

That may be one thing I hadn't communicated to the list before, that the
Yellowknives Dene have agreed to a 2027 conference. Anyways, the reason I
am writing is to ask: is this still the plan? It's no problem if we have to
change plans, but in that case we should make a decision sooner rather than
later. For example, if Doig River no longer wants to host in 2025, maybe
one of the other host communities' dates could be moved up.

So for those of you who are in touch with Doig River First Nation, please
let me know if you have heard anything.

Thanks,

Alex
