Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to let you know that the abstract deadline for the DiscourseNet 35 conference, Mapping and Countering Authoritarian Discourses (University of Opole, Poland, 25–26 February 2027), has been extended to 31 October 2026.
DN35 is a DiscourseNet conference on how (neo)authoritarian appeals are constructed in discourse and how they can be countered. We welcome critical, rhetorical, corpus-based, post-structuralist, multimodal, and other approaches. The details are available on our website:http://www.discourseanalysis.net/DN35
* Abstracts (300–400 words) go through the online form: https://badania.uni.opole.pl/index.php/565974?newtest=Y&lang=en
* Panel proposals (3–4 papers) go to dn35 at uni.opole.pl mailto:dn35 at uni.opole.pl
* We will announce decisions in early November 2026
* The fee is €70. An active DiscourseNet membership is required (€60 for 2 years).
We would be grateful if you could share this with colleagues and doctoral researchers who might be interested.
Best regards!
