Hi All,
I've been looking at Diarmad O Se/'s little book on the Irish of Corca
Dhuine, he gives an example using the word crannai/ochtaa. Although
obviously related to trees, I'd like to know the exact meaning. It isn't
in any of teh big dictionaries. Interestingly no word with teh ending
(a)iocha is to be found in O Donall or O Baoil. Wl. Can anyone
put their finger on the exact meaning of this morpheme (or
on crannaiocha in particular).
cheers,
A
