First Call for Papers: Fifth Celtic Linguistics Conference (CLC5)


The Fifth Celtic Linguistics Conference
7 - 9th September 2007
University of Wales Conference Centre,

Abstracts are solicited for 30 minute presentations (followed by 10 
minutes of discussion) in any area of Celtic linguistics.

Contributions are welcomed from all areas of the field from theoretical, 
formal or computational approaches through to descriptive, historical and 
applied work. Presentations should describe original, unpublished work and 
may focus on completed research or work in progress.

The invited speakers at the conference are Jim McCloskey (UCSC), Tonio 
Green (Potsdam) and Virginia Gathercole (Bangor).


SUBMISSION SPECIFICATIONS

  Abstracts can be up to two A4 pages in 11pt or larger type and should
  include a title. Omit name and affiliation, and obvious
  self-reference.

Submissions  should be sent by email as pdf or ps files and should
consist of:

(1) An anonymous abstract without name, institutional
affiliation or obvious self-reference, up to 2 A4 pages in 11pt or larger.

(2) A version of the abstract with name and affiliation

(3) a separate information page in plain text format, containing
  author name(s),  affiliation(s), e-mail and postal address(es) and
  title of paper


Submissions should be sent as email attachments (3 separate pdf or ps 
files) to
louisa at essex.ac.uk with 'clc5' in the subject field.

All abstracts will be reviewed by at least three people.

TIMETABLE

Deadline for abstracts:  2 April 2007
Acceptances sent out:    2 May  2007
