Searching across tiers

Hello,
I am trying to search for combinations across two tiers- %more and
%xgra- but I have been having difficulty. What I need to search for is
the presence of the category verb on the morphological tier in the
absence of a subject on the grasp tier. The discussion in the CLAN
manual (pg. 66) is of a cross-tier combo search for words on the CHI
tier matched with tags on the %spa tier. The string that the manual
indicates for this search is:
combo +s(want^to^*^%spa:^*^$INI*)+(neat^*^%spa:^*^$CON*)
+t%spa +f +d sample.cha
freq +swant +sto +sneat sample.cmb
The thing is that for this search, one only needs to specify that the
%spa tier be added given that CLAN by default would search on the
speech tier for the combination want^to. I, on the other hand, need
to specify that CLAN should search on 2 tiers, %mor and %xgra. Can
anyone help me with this? I've tried many permutations of the template
above and to no avail.
Thank you.
