Unix CHECK

Hi

A question for Leonid ...

Running:
unix/bin/check lib/samples/sample.cha
or:
cd unix/bin
./check ../../lib/samples/sample.cha
gives the error:
Language codes file being used: "/home/kevin/downloads/siarad/unix-
clan/lib/fixes/ISO-639.cut"
Dep-file being used: "/home/kevin/downloads/siarad/unix-clan/lib/depfile.cut"
Can't locate file "sample.cha" in a specified directory.
Check spelling of file name.

It can find the lib dir, but even moving sample.cha up one level into lib
itself still gives the message:
Can't locate file "sample.cha" in a specified directory.

Presumably some filepaths are hardcoded somewhere. Any way around this?
