Target tier in CLAN transcriptions

Dear Kristine,
The %mod tier is really intended for a different function. It is supposed to be the adult target form corresponding to the %pho line and both of them should be in IPA. I don't think that most child language people would feel the need for a complete target-like line of the type you are describing. However, if you wish to have one, it is fine. I would just label it as %flo, because it has a function much like the line created by the FLO program.
Note that there are many facilities in CHAT that make having a separate line of this type less important. For example, the form "de" can be entered as de [: the] and you can often use forms such as goin(g) instead of goin' etc. How this all works out in North Sami would be another question.
