Linking transcripts to mp3

Dear Nicole,
    One thing to check is the shape of your @Media line and its correspondence to the name of the media file.  If your file is called myfile.mp3, then you want a line like this:

@Media:	myfile, audio

Perhaps there is a funny character in your media file name.   Perhaps there is an extra space.  Perhaps you have two copies of files and you are in the wrong directory accidentally.  Perhaps the specific .mp3 file you are using is problematic in some way.  Try to see if QuickTime can play the file directly outside of CLAN.  Usually, the problem is one of the ones I have mentioned.  If not, you would need to email me the transcript and the audio file.
