Separating Quotations in Storybook Interaction Transcript

Dear Sarah,
    The codes for this marking are given in section 7.9 of the CHAT manual.  Basically, you use the +" mark to indicate the quoted material.  Everything without +" is the non-quoted material.  If you wanted further control over this, you could use postcodes, as described in the manual.  I think that using postcodes would make things a bit easier during the analysis.  However, in any case, the methods for separating out the quoted material are as given in the manual.
