Bobbi,

	One solution is to remove all dependent and header tiers from your data file and then unwrap all the tier. The command to remove dependent and header tiers is:

	kwal -t% -t@ +d +f *.cha

The command to unwrap tiers is:

	longtier *.kwal.cex

The resulting file *.longtr.cex will have one tier per line format. Now you can just subtract line numbers.
