Dear Katie,
    Thanks for detecting this.  A general point here is that it is always a good idea to run CHECK on your files.  I just now added a space before the @Begin in a CHAT file and CHECK definitely complains.  So, this is one way of making sure that there is nothing in your file that may be triggering some sort of error.
