need assistance with linking to PRAAT

Hello Chibolts

My student Julie and I are trying to take clips from videos and send them
to PRAAT for analysis.  We are using a Mac and the most recent versions of
CLAN and PRAAT.  We start by opening PRAAT, then open the .cha file and
associated .mov file.  We then put our cursor on the targeted utterance
before the bullet.  Then we go to MODE--Send to sound analyzer.  THis leads
to a 'long temp' file appearing in the PRAAT window.  We then use PRAAT to
change it to a .wav file.  But when we then go to play it the following
error appears:

"Less than one sample in window. Longsound temp not extracted. <<Extract
part..11.531000 12.50400 yes>>
Script not completed.  PRAAT: message not completely handled.'

We also tried it without changing to .wav and got the same error.  Needless
to say, the clip does not play in PRAAT.  Any ideas what we are doing
wrong?  Thanks
