error reading sound file(1)

Hi,

I changed my computer very recently and since then I am unable to
transcribe a sound.

Each time I try I have the same error message "error reading sound
file(1)" followed by the location of the sound file.

I tried to re-install CLAN or Quicktime, but it didn't work.
Now I have CLAN version 13 from 20 March and Quicktime version 7.7.1
and as OS, I have Windows Seven.

I am quite sure, it is something very simple to fix but I can't find
where is the problem.

If anyone have a solution to this problem, I will be very grateful.
