Question about compound words and CHECK

hello ChiBolts
I am running CHECK on some files and words such as hot_dog are coming up as
not passing check. I consulted the CLAN manual and it suggested hotdog.
That didn't pass check either. I also tried hot+dog, which I thought was
no longer correct, and it did not pass either. I am running the most
recent version of CLAN. Suggestions about how to get these words to pass
check?
Thanks
Shelley
