No video, just audio

Hello everyone,
Recently I started using CHAT and CLAN for my work in clinical linguistiscs 
as well as in my research project. I'm happy with the program but although 
I succeeded in connecting a video file to CHAT, I don't see the video but I 
only hear the audio of the video. At the bottom of the screen I can see the 
file is opened but when I click on this file it doesn't open to show the 
video. While 'bulleting' the file to prepare for transcription I only hear 
the audio and while transcribing the bulleted piece the video doesn't open, 
I only hear the audio.
Does anyone have I suggestion to improve this 'failure'? The cause must be 
somewhere in the setting I assume.
