MLT for particular codes

Hello,
I would like to calculate MLT or MLU for only those utterances given a
particular code (e.g., $ELAB). I'm interested in knowing whether particular
types of utterances tend to be longer than others. This seems possible,
perhaps using +s? But I'm not finding this specific command in the manual.
Thanks,
Virginia
