Is there a switch/option to overwrite file in CHSTRING

Thank you Davida and Leonid for your prompt replies - I thought there might
be a simple answer. Yes, I should have typed it in the Commands window to
see the options instead of just looking at the manual (which obviously
can't contain everything).
