Kideval and Timedur duration do not coincide

Dear all, 

Duration in seconds calculated with kideval and timedur in a batch of files 
do not coincide: in same cases the value is the same, in other cases it is 
different. The difference is only of a few seconds, so at the moment we can 
just ignore it, but do you know where this difference could originate?
