Problem Displaying Time on Media File

Hi all, 

I am an undergraduate student currently using CHAT/CLAN for a summer 
research project. I am working on a Mac, and when I link the video, playing 
it through QuickTime Player, it only shows the time in seconds without the 
detailed dropdown menu, which is making it hard to change the bullet times 
since it does not match up with the time frame displayed on the CHAT file. 
Any help in enabling the more precise time window would be greatly 
appreciated!
