Handle .cha files on Python

[Giulia Sanguedolce]

Hi there, 
How do you work with CHAT files of python? I mean for extracting strings or 
to change the directly the format of the file? Do you have suggested 
packages for managing these .cha files? I tried some but with no good 
results
