Error Saving .cha Files

Hi all!

I've recently attempted using CLAN and each time I go to save a file I get 
an error which says "The document 'untitled' could not be saved as 
'untitled'". The same occurs when I manually put ".cha" at the end of the 
file. CLAN will also sporadically crash when trying to save a file. I 
haven't used CLAN in a few months, but haven't encountered the same errors 
in the past. Does anyone have any insight how to fix this?
