CLAN adding unexpected line spacing

Hiya, new person to CLAN here. Several times now CLAN has inserted a new 
line halfway through a line I'm working on and no amount of backspacing or 
copy and pasting will allow all the information in one line. Can anyone 
help? 

(in the photo example, I'd like to have all the information on lines 9 and 
10 in line 9 but CLAN keeps taking it down a line midway through without 
any indication why)
