To make sure I'm on the right track, I'll summarize what I see as the
difference between this newer system and the one at the workshop:

1. "e" is replacing "eh"
2. "ey" is replacing "e"
3. "L" is replacing "hl"
4. "tL!" is replacing "thl!"
5. "d" has been added to the alphabet

I think that 1 and 2 make a lot of sense.  Five is sort of a given - if
you need it, you need it. I kind of like using the "hl" as it seems to
indicate what is going on.  I have noticed that people who haven't been
exposed to Chinook Jargon seem to have a clue as to what is going on
when they see the "hl."  It kind of looks like you're aspirating or
slurring it (especially since it's in front).  I think that the Sto:lo
language uses "lh" for this sound. On the other side, since it's really
a minor learning issue, it's not a big deal.  One other point, the less
we differentiate between sounds via the [shift] key, the less typos we
get due to "lazy" shifting.

I don't like the idea of using the "'" for the ejective as the "'" is
used in english for the glottal stop (Oh'oh) or as a contraction.  The
"!" seems to be pretty standard for the ejective.
