Hey, at least one eminent linguist (whom I don't have permission to quote
here) thinks that my proposed etymology of the word <shabon> for "debt;
loan" in _Kamloops Wawa_ is unlikely to be accurate.

The same linguist professes, as I do, an inability to come up with a
viable alternative etymology.

HEmm, or rather, aaa...
