Good day!

Sorry for being late with this. It's an excellent event, and you may
wish to mark your calendars for next year!

"BACK IN TIME: At the Journey Past Heritage Celebration, the day begins
with the arrival of the fur trade brigade on Saturday, July 17 at 11 a.m.
followed by working historical exhibits of blacksmithing, period music and
stories told by Salish elders. A Salish mass in the mission chapel at
5:30 p.m. marks the end of the celebration. All events are at the Kettle
Falls Interpretive Center and the St. Paul's Mission off Highway 395,
Kettle Falls, Wash. Free. Call: (509) 738-6964." --from the _Pacific
Northwest Indlander_ (Spokane, WA), July 14, 1999. [Accompanied by a
circa-1845 sketch of a Native American encampment near Kettle Falls, by
Paul Kane.]

Best from
Dave
