1)  Waring, Guy.  "My Pioneer Past."  Boston:  Bruce Humphries, Inc.,
1936.  His story of early white presence in the Okanagan Valley includes
several attestations of dialogue addressed by native people to whites in
Chinook Jargon.

2)  Anderson, Eva Greenslit.  "Chief Seattle."  Caldwell, Idaho:  The
Caxton Printers, Ltd., 1950.  Historical fiction.  Much of the dialogue is
in Chinook Jargon, a great deal in fact, so this would be good practice
for many of us.
