I wrote some of the following while composing my other "kamuks/comox"
reply, and came up with some entertainment value. Everyone polish up
your tzum sticks and your heehee laboosh, as well as some peshak tumtum,
and let mamook pooh! OK, people, let's have some FUN.....
"maika mama hyas klootchman moolack" (your mother is a big cow elk)
might be effective. But maybe that's not an insult, depending on your
culture, I suppose.
"Cultus pelton" is pretty harsh, I think, but it really means only
something like "crazy fool"; but it seems an insult to dignity, as it
slights both someone's worth and their intelligence; culturally pretty
bad, from any background, if the meaning is known to the hearer.
Dunderheadish qualities could be "wapato latet" or just "kahkwa
wapato"? What's worse than a wapato?
Tukamonuk [la] nose - hundred noses. Somebody who's nosey, maybe.
back to more serious derision: "Hoolhool wootlat", maybe (this list is
G-rated, so please refer to your lexicons ;-). "[maika] Moolack
wootlat" or "[maika] kiuatan wootlat" seem far too generous.....
Then there's "stone latet" (which kinda could also mean d******d,
although somewhat anatomically different); sounds a bit tougher than
"wootlat latet", dunnit?
"Tenas Opoots"...."Hyas Opoots". Again a cultural issue, maybe, and
maybe both would work. Is this a kloshe ikta, or a cultus ikta?
"Lemolo Opoots" sounds maybe more like an affliction than an
insult........"tamanass opoots" would be, possibly, more like a
compliment, as in "man! he/she's _bad_".......
Kloshe konaway mamook elip heehee.......
Naika moosum; okook sun naika chako kilapi kopa Lillooet; elip hiyu
miles kopa klahwayhut.......
OK, OK, someone come up with a Chinookism for "miles".....there's that
distance/measures issue again....
