Copper in Hawai'ian is "keleawe" according to Pukui & Elbert.  This is
basically  a general name for metals such as brass, copper, bronze, tin, steel
lead, etc. so it translates "chIkamEn" (chikamin) pretty drEt. LaXayEm, Jim
