Dear Friends,
  In thinking about Aaron's wonderful post of all of the jargon in Meacham
1875, I began thinking that maybe we could begin a project of an archive of
such notes. Like the on-line dictionaries now available on J. Kopp's page,
maybe an on-line archive of rare book notes would also be valuable. I have
the Gibbs notes and I know many others have passed us by over the last few
years which could be included in the archive. With appropriate credit to
the notetakers, I think this has a good chance of working. What do you think?
