The North Cascades Institute has listed a seminar you might find
interesting:

Jack Nisbet, author of SOURCES OF THE RIVER, will lead a seminar June 3-4
(Sat-Sun)exploring the vicinity of the Spokane House near the confluence of
the Little Spokane River with the Spokane River.  He will show portions of
four major tribal roads that Thompson mapped: Kalispel Road, Ilthkoyape
Road, Palous Road, and Skeetshoo Road.  Tuition $165.  Camping at Riverside
